Talk with our Islesboro Home Energy Coaches
Elizabeth (our Island Fellow), Kathy, Cressica, Bill, and other members of the Energy Committee are looking to meet with Islesboro residents to discuss your concerns and needs about home energy costs and comfort. In these neighbor-to-neighbor chats about energy bills and home comfort, we can share information and discuss possibilities for home energy improvements. We can meet either in a community space (ICC or ALPL) or at your home, where we can look at your building envelope and insulation (and pets!) using our thermal imaging camera. Click the button below to go to a Google Form and tell us you're interested, then we'll get in touch to schedule a time to meet.

Help us learn more about your home energy needs
Help us reach our goal of learning about most of the ~270 year-round and ~500 seasonal homes on the island--we have 120 participants so far! We want to hear about your home energy needs and plans! Then we'll give you personalized feedback on available rebates/incentives, and how you compare with your island neighbors. Your survey will also help us apply for grants for community energy projects like solar and home insulation.
